Zhang,Dexiang:The imperial phenomenon in Chinese officialdom
张德祥(Zhang,Dexiang)
Most of the dictatorships in human history implemented the family system, which is to regard the country as the private property of the emperor's family. The emperor is the supreme master of the country, and the emperor's brothers are also named princes and enjoy great power.
The power of the emperor and the prince can be inherited, passed down from generation to generation, and the family rule is implemented from generation to generation.
The family system of the Communist Party of China has its own characteristics. Although there is no explicit provision that it can be inherited, it can be expanded horizontally, that is, officials at all levels can promote and appoint their own relatives.
For example: A news report revealed that the minister of the Organization Department of a municipal party committee, his wife, eldest daughter, second daughter and son worked in the Municipal Finance Bureau, Municipal Party Committee Office, Municipal Court and Municipal Taxation Bureau respectively.
And the minister's eldest son-in-law, second son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephew and niece worked in the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Municipal Health Bureau, Municipal Procuratorate, Municipal Electric Power Bureau and Municipal Land Bureau respectively.
This situation is common in the officialdom of mainland China, forming many family-based dynasties and local tyrants, which is more family-based than in the feudal era, and is a regression of history.
