Zhenghu Piao: The CCP is Old and Corroded
The CCP is eighty-four years old now. In 1949, when it was twenty-eight, it swept the mainland with a high-spirited and vigorous move. Now fifty-six yeas have passed away, the CCP becomes doited.
In fact, a party is not a physical body, it has no physiological metabolism. The America’s Democratic and Republican Party were both established in 19 century, and has existed for more than 100 years, but they are still very young. The reason is that they cannot monopolize the country’s power. Rater, they can only compete under people’s supervision. The victorious one can gain the right to govern for a certain period. Then they must compete again, and let their people to choose. This kind of political system spurs the competed parties to keep a democratic system in their own parties. Only through the competition, many new people with ability and potential leaders will emerge to replace the older leaders, in order to win the competition over its rival party. Therefore, there is no issue for decrepitude.
The CCP brings anther story. It monopolizes the whole country’s power, forbids any rival party to compete with itself, and cannot tolerate any criticism. This one-party political system not only hampers a country’s development, but also forfeits its own vigor. Without the pressure of outside competition and supervision, the country and party’s power become the governmental hierarchs’ private property, which can only be passed down privately. Thus, the power system of monarchy which had dominated in China for several thousand years revives within the CCP.
Today, it is a miracle for the CCP which can live with the age of eighty-four. In other words, this is a surprising longevity for the CCP, but how many years would left before it dies in such a situation?
