Jiangming Liu: Practice Multi-Party System is the First Condition for an Uncorrupted Government
The CCP’s one-party ruling, and the officials corruption now has become people’s most concerned social issues. The corruption of one-party ruling has penetrated into China’s political, economic, and cultural field. Almost every government official is corrupt.
In today’s China, thousands of workers had lost their job from the inefficient public-owned factors. And more poor farmers have to live their own place to seek jobs in cities. Because of losing their jobs, the huge numbers of poor people and farmers have to pretest. The one-party ruling system has no democracy, and is unable to clean the corruption by itself. One-party ruling doesn’t have any democracy, and doesn’t have any effective anti-power balance and the participation of democratic politics. The phenomena for the CCP’s corruption have aggravated, the authority is weakened and many people became unemployed. The one-party ruling system has unavoidably brought the threat to China’s society’s long-term stability. Therefore, when China’s economic reform goes deep and transmit, it should be pay attention to harmonize the economic reform with the political reform. If the situation is still one-party ruling without any different voice, if China doesn’t care to harmonize with the political system, the economic reform will eventually failed. Therefore, China must abolish the system of one-party ruling, practice multi-parties’ competition. This is the only way to build a democratic, uncorrupted, and efficient government.
