                               Baogan Wang: Keep the Chinese Miners Away From Mine Accidents

    China’s mine accidents are very frequent. There is a story says that coalmine and gas’s detonation is death to the adults, but a sound of fire to the naïve children. Death, to them, is too far and strange to be realized.

    A small girl’s father is a miner. The girl always wants a skirt. Her mother bought to her and she wanted to put it on immediately. Then her mother told her to wait for her father, let her father see this and be happy. Yet, the gas’s denotation ruined everything. Her father died in the accident. The little girl didn’t have any idea what happened. She urged to go home to wear the skirt and let her father see it. Her mother then cried out to her: you don’t have home any longer. The little girl was confused. She didn’t know she could never see her father.
