                                  Baogan Wang: A Democratic Constitution is China’s Aim

      China will definitely walk to a democratic constitution. This is a historical trend that cannot be altered by anyone. But how to push China’s construction of democratic constitution is still a issue needed to be breakthrough and solved.

      Since China’s reform and openness, the government has explored a little bit in this regard. For example: holding a basic level democratic election. This is a improvement, but not a big deal. Not only the basic thought didn’t change, but also conducted any behaviors go against this spirit. The key point is that the concrete road and chance for the construction of democratic constitution has not been found. Democratic constitution is China’s aim and ideality, but this aim cannot be realized overnight, or smoothly. It needs accumulation and evolvement. Only this way can we have a fundamentally breakthrough.
