Fu, ZhongXin: Withholding Corruption in China Should Change System First
Today, the essence of the corruptive phenomenon in Chinese society is the corruptive phenomenon of society power. The core part of society power is the limitless official power, and it is without supervising and restraining, so in other word the society power is difficult to supervise and restrain, especially the official power which leading to the large area, large range, long-lasting and in-depth society corruption. Among these, the one in leading position and being the main force is the corruptive official power, and this is the most major inner force. The folk corruptive phenomenon acts a role as subjecting and inciting force, and this is the minor outer force.
The present prevalent corruptive phenomenon in Chinese society is the deadly evil result of absolute power expanding limitlessly and extending to every fields of society. No matter in officialdom and in folk, where there is power even though a little bit power, there is definitely corruptive phenomenon as long as the society system of supervising and restraining hasn’t been set up simultaneously. The absolute power being to lead to absolute corruption is a objective truth widely approving of and is a universal principle of human society.
