Liu, Jun: Dictatorship Rule Distort People’s Value Psychologically
Today, what will be our Chinese society? On the one hand, people’s livelihood and human rights issues have made our society in a precarious situation from inside and our society faces anxiety of entirely collapse! On the other hand, do we consider calmly how much more progress we have made than Chinese lived 160 years ago or 90 years ago except for braids cut off, business suit, cellphone and notebook computer? At here, we might as well give an example happened two years ago: on one newspaper carried a story that an undergraduate of Beijing University informed against a teacher who had made a speech in Beijing University to the central government about the teacher advocating bourgeois freedom publicly! This is only an individual, but to reader’s limited knowledge, even 90 years ago no one among our undergraduates would shameless to the extent like this.
How much progress has Chinese civilization been made? There is not only no progression but also a retrogression. Tracing the cause we have no difficulty to find out that it is Chinese dictatorship rule which makes trouble. As a Chinese , we should understand a simple truth: China realizes democracy and freedom, and people indeed become master in their own country.
