Zhang, Biao: City Construction Can’t Be At Cost of Environment Destruction
China communist has incomplete system, thus its corruption reach the limit. The prosperity and luxury of cities are based on peasants’ income decline and workers’ lay-off without benefits guarantee. Behind China communist officials’ dissipation and luxury is whoop and groan of countless weak influence group.
Many cities in China are noted for their virescence by planting trees, but in recent decade the situation changes. Big and small cities mutually compete by planting big trees and famous trees. From scenic gardens to boulevards beside hill and water, everywhere are camphor trees, gingkoes and snow-pines imported from remote mountains and old forests, furthermore there are thousand years old pines protected by nation transplanted in China communist department courtyards or mountain villa.
For a period of time, from remote mountains and old forests to flourishing cities, from digging to sale, a series of procession is formed. The mountain forests are in a mess, the cities have wonderful sights, and few people dispute this kind of ecological destruction. Enjoyment of people in cities seems to be perfectly justified, but those famous trees which are used to inclement circumstance with yesterday’s poverty recorded on their bodies now erect in cities of corruptive system
