                       Xing Jinqiao: In China There’s a Special Knowledge Called “Relationology”

In China there’s a most advantaged knowledge, called “relationology”. What is “relationology”? “Relationology” is a knowledge to lie above and cheat below, flatter around and make a relation net throughout and as high and far as possible.

One of the applications of the “relationology” in China is how to express one’s opinion. When a instruction from above comes, the subordinate officials have to express their opinions level by level and one by one. It is an art to express one’s opinion: sometimes take the lead of all others; sometimes delay and delay to see how others’ opinions are; sometimes express oneself straightforward to the point; sometimes try to go round about way; sometimes need to play the major; sometimes the minor, so on and so forth.
