Jiang, Xiujuan: Dictatorial System is the Source of Social Instability in China
China communist authority preaches “stability is the most important thing”, and such a so-called social stability actually is their “power stability”. In China society everywhere is filled with conflicts, disputes and hatred. The sharp difference between rich and poor leads to the hatred on rich people. The sad wrongs of people going on appeal, the bloody tears of people forced to relocate, the crying rage of farmers lost their land, etc. People continued to combat for their human right, and such events occur here and there. If the media is allowed to report it, people would see that China is on turmoil and no stability at all.
In democratic countries, media has its freedom and any events can be reported, and all immoral social phenomenons could be exposed to the public; and on the surface it seems not stable in the society, however, such exposure by media can reduce greatly the people’s dissatisfaction and complaint and lead the public opinions to their way expressed, and thus conflicts could be avoided, and resulted in the high stability of the society. In a dictatorial regime like China, people’s election right is deprived of, and the autocratic group controls the whole country, controlling the current structure of interest allocation. From the surface it seems the government in power is stable, but its society is extremely instable.
