Wang Ying: China Government Tore off its Disguised Masks
The tide of overall human right struggle aroused the wake up of the Chinese politically, and the direct effect of human right struggle is that ordinary people realized the importance of law supervising and the danger of power without supervising, and the nature of dictatorial regime that oppose its people, oppose democracy and oppose rule by law. Human right struggle made more people go to appeal for their right, and the call for anti-corruption, anti-persecution, and anti-dictatorship on internet is higher than ever. Such natural human right movement in 2002 was once called by the communist authority media as “human right year”.
Once in a while various of human right ads, TV programs, websites appeared numerously in China, and it is for sure that such a loud campaign for had its positive effect on overall human right, government rule-by law, citizenship and personal value centered and citizenship society. However, China communist authority did not expect that people began to take more and more serious actions in struggle for their legal human right politically or economically, so finally China communist authority tore off its disguised mask for law, supervision and election and began to crackdown relentlessly the human right movement.
