                         Fu, Zhongxin  Religious freedom is a symbol of progress of civilization in China

CCP government has been unmerciful in suppressing religious believes, Buddhism, Catholicism and Christianity, to name only a few. Communist belief of most people diminished after the end of the Cultural Revolution. Communism and freedom of religion are mutually exclusive, so CCP’s religious policy can never be changed. Has China’s civilization experienced any progress yet? No progress at all. Moreover, there is withdrawal. It is not difficult to find out that the real reason lies in the autocracy in China.
We need to pull back people from the wrong way of communism onto the road of democratic civilization. Lead people on the right track. Let the Chinese people live better-off lives and upgrade their living standard. Let them enjoy the right of democratic freedom as well as religious freedom. Chinese people should understand a simple truth: To realize democratic freedom in China, the Chinese people should have freedom of religion. This is the symbol of progress of civilization in China.
