Li, Jinji: There Is No Restrictions to the Powers of Officials in Autocratic Society
In today’s CCP government, manipulation of powers is everywhere. Service industries like restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, dancing halls, and hair saloons are all connected with the authority. He who has backstage supporters and is protected by business and commerce regulators, tax bureau or public security bureau, can do business easily. Those who do not often have a hard time.
CCP officials in all regulatory departments control markets with powers in their hands. Who owns the power of management manipulates the power. For example, road and housing construction are all operated in black-boxes. Black-box operation is in the disguise of legal procedures. In a final analysis, he who owns the biggest power, who has the best connections, and who gives the most bribes, gets the bid of contraction. It is proved that power beyond restriction is omnipotent.
