Liu, Jianfu: Human rights should be put in the supreme position
Chinese officials claim shamelessly that “Chinese people enjoy full human rights”. What do you think of this as a Chinese? We Chinese can no longer cheat ourselves and be arrogant blindly. CCP has been ruling China for over 50 years. Income and living standard of the Chinese people rank almost the end of the more than 100 countries. Don’t you feel ashamed being a Chinese? Today, after more than 50 years CCP ruling, the farmers can hardly survive the burden of various taxes; workers are laidoff; CCP cardres do everything they want, embezzlement, corruption, taking brides etc; good citizens have nowhere to complain. They have to keep in harmony with CCP. Those who complain will be arrested, imprisoned, sentenced or even beaten to death. Do you feel comfortable with these?
In the western capitalist countries, those who abuse animals will be punished by law. How do CCP treat the compatriots? So many people are beaten to death only because they practice Falungong for the sake of health. CCP jail policemen’s torture to prisoners is known to all. National government should protect the people, and this is why human right should be put in the first place and state power in the second place. If China does not put human right on a supreme position, is the country of China still meaningful to its people?
