Hu, ChangJiang: Thoughts of the 1.1 billion courtyard houses in Beijing
Recently, an “isolated island house” in ChongQing caught world media attention since the owner of the house refused the relocation. The media coverage won owner the title of “the most resisting house owner”. Everyone was struck by the scene and felt release of oppression from many years. Private properties are still abused by the government; even the new released “laws to protect private property” cannot change it; since the constitution is being abused as well.
A few days ago, the most popular Chinese Newspaper in US “World Journal” published a report titled "Beijing courtyard houses sold for 110 million high price". Most of the people have no ideas about the story: this former courthouse locates in the most beautiful place in BeiJing, the north side of HouHai. Its west sides face GongWangFu, and to the north side of it is GuangHua Temple. It is a typical traditional courthouse lived by around 10 families. BeiJing SanHai Real Estate Company bribed local officials for the rights to develop the area. They cheated the residents to move out their houses with the excuse of redeveloping dangerous houses, forced residents to relocate to outside 3rd or 4th loop in BeiJing. Some owners refused to relocate since they do not agree with the compensation. Local authorities sent out police, using forces & violence to force the residents to move out. They threw owners household items into the truck; beat those people who did not follow, even arrested people if they resisted. The barbaric demolition & land dispossession is done by local authorities & developing real estate companies together. Local officials allow the demolition of people’s houses by the developers, and this is the same as allowing Chinese citizen’s house and land being seized by forces.
Since the establishment of CCP government through forces, CCP has planned seizing people’s land, properties. They spend not even a penny for all people’s properties, and after those corrupted officials steal & seize the assets from people and the country, they declared “property laws”. This is the same as stealing people’s properties and publicly claiming their ownership.
