WEI, HUAGENG: Democracy is the Core Concept of Human-right
What is the core concept of democracy? That is human rights. No human rights, there is no democracy. Human rights are the starting point of democracy as well as the closing point of democracy. People have dignity and worth of existence depends on the sense of inductivity and free choice , which is the basis of the concept of rights. Human-right is one of the attributes people should enjoy regardless of gender, race, class, wealth and nationality, everyone should enjoy equal rights. Human rights exist before the establishment of the nation.
Human rights refer to the freedom to choose. The larger citizen’s right to the freedom of choice, the less of corresponding control of the community and officials. China does not restrict government power, this cause the people been deprived of their natural human rights, resulting no human rights in Chinese community. Facts have proved that any of the disregards of basic human-right system are evil system, any of the violations of basic human rights acts are evil acts.
