WANG, WENZHONG: Corruption Is Moldy Bean Which Sell Horrible But Taste Good
Corruption in China is like moldy bean which smell horrible but taste good. Among Chinese officials, everybody declare to eliminate corruption, but everybody wants corruption. If you dare not be corrupt, you can’t become an official. If you are not good at being corrupt, you can’t become a high-class official. Even the basic officials and people, who have no chance to corrupt, want their leaders to corrupt. But they are angry if other persons corrupt without themselves. In cities especially big cities, the salaries of authority officials are higher than these limited by laws. People call this salary grey-salary. The grey-salary is illegal. It is income of corruption. The leader surely gets more.
The officials like corruption, want corruption and support corruption. Personal corruption is not easy, but collectivity corruption is easy. A leader, who can give his men money and benefits, will get honor and praise from people. It is so difficult to do business on laws.
Many China Communist Party (CCP) officials come into their kingdom. They have high-class villas and luxurious cars. Their positions are stable, although their incomes are grey-salary. They don’t support CCP’s principles and have no gospel. At the same time, their behaviors infect their children and improve the corruption.
