Fu, Jinqiu: Hope Chinese Government Contribute for Global Climate Protection
In recent years, the Chinese has achieved in many fields, and its economic strength increases dramatically, and people＇s lives improved significantly. However, due to the formation of long-term structural problems and the mode of growth has not yet fundamentally changed, increasing pressure on the environment. Economic growth, resource and environmental cost is too great facing the development of China＇s current outstanding problems. How the Chinese government will open a can to maintain the ecological environment while achieving economic development objectives of the road of sustainable development have become widespread concern.
United Nations Climate Change Conference on December 3 2007 in the Indonesian island of Bali was held and before 2009 signing a deal with the new global warming treaty negotiations. The representatives of 190 countries attend the meeting have held in Bali two weeks of intense discussions and an agreement was finally reached.
We hope that China during the promotion of democracy and freedom and reform of the system at the same time, continue to resource conservation and environmental protection as a basic national policy. Chinese government should continue to strengthen capacity-building for climate change, protect the global climate and make new contributions to.
