Zheng, Wen: Difference between Authoritarian Regimes and Democratic Regimes

In all countries of the world, there are two methods to maintain the regime. In democratic countries, regimes belong to the people and originated from people's mandate. Those in power win people's trust in political achievements to get votes to maintain political power, having no second path to take. Therefore, Government impossibly confines public opinion and suppresses different voices. On the contrary, only by real achievements, they can seek the support of public opinion, can it win the election.
In authoritarian countries, the use of force or coercion of force, or the conspiracy to all-known and all-able regime can only appear, relying on public or covert force to maintain its rule, usually no more than the way the media monopoly, the suppression of heresy, on the one hand, as for the people The enemy and tremble with fear, day and night preparedness; On the one hand, might believe that there is all right, the world's big, strong all to control. This regime is one of the major characteristics can’t have different views, even calling a stag a horse and confound black and white, also the world people are angry but dare not to say anything. Chinese historical dynasties and nowadays CCP all are this.
