Ding, Fugui: Anti-corruption can’t Rely on People but on System
Fundamentally everyone has the greed and corrupt heart, because this is human beings natural desires, if power without supervision, not only ordinary people, but also corrupt officials are victims. Autocratic system makes senior officials on the location where they can do whatever they like, everyone is perfect embodiment, they should not listen to common people’s criticism, not to see the media supervision, so that they combat with their all kinds of desires in the interests of various temptations alone. This is a trap for them.
China＇s social awareness of corruption often focused on the moral level, in fact, the current system without supervision is the culprit of corruption. Not eliminating corruption from the system, only anti-corruption, anti-corruption is not only difficult to achieve the effectiveness, in another sense, it is a protection on corruption. How to do? Only democratic reforms and establishment of modern democratic system can eradicate corruption fundamentally.
