Gong, Ming: Only Giving Up Autocracy Can Improve Human Rights
Human rights in China are always the worldwide focus. In These years, Chinese human rights haven’t been improved. Among so many reasons, the most key reason is that there are defects in Chinese regime. Human-rights situation depends on regime in a country. In the autocratic countries the officials are usually used to manage the society. The feature of official management is to use long-term violence. And the violent society can’t guarantee human rights. Today, Chinese communist regime rules Chinese society. So Chinese people has been persecuted for a long time, for example, they don’t have freedom of speech and election, etc. Moreover, Chinese people’s survival has been threatened. This government can arrest people, beat people and kill people at will, which means that basic human rights of the citizens have been deprived of.
People who live only under democratic regime can fully own human rights. Currently, worldwide people desire democracy, freedom and nomocracy. Thus, promoting democratic reform of Chinese society totally complies with principles of human moral civilization. Chinese government must give up violence, give up autocracy to comply with world trend, and implement democratic regime in China, and fundamentally improve human rights to contribute for human rights.
