Liang, Jun: Corruption is inevitable Outcome of Autocratic Regime
The corruption problem in Chinese society is rocking the ruling concept of Chinese communist. Though Chinese communist has the resolution to punish corrupt officials and found that root of corruption is autocratic regime. However, Chinese communist hasn’t achieved much outcome in restraining corruption, on the contrary, Chinese corruption is getting more intensive.
Chinese communist government always finds some so-called objective reasons that corruption is the outcome of reform and opening-up and it is the problem of economic development, in order to cope with people and appease people’s dissatisfaction with corruption.
Actually, Corruption is the inevitable outcome of autocratic regime. Inevitably, corruption is caused under autocratic regime. Chinese communist understands the principle that the officials under autocratic regime have absolute power in their hands which causes the absolute corruption. So in autocratic Chinese society, appearance of corruption is the objective principle. Since Chinese communist implemented autocratic ruling, official ruling has replaced laws so that corruption started spreading and got uncontrollable at present. The answer of how to punish corrupt officials and how to prevent corruption is to abandon autocracy and realize democracy.
