Yang, Zhaoqin: Must Open Freedom of Speech in China
In Chinese society, there is no freedom of speech. Though some items concerning freedom of speech is regulated in constitution of Chinese communist government, in the actual life, Chinese people have no true freedom of speech. In today’s Chinese society, Chinese communist government regulated freedom of speech in constitution`n. It is also that Chinese communist government doesn’t execute freedom of speech. This government eats its promise and reverses white and black. The items regulated in constitution are vain for it. Chinese people can’t speak at will, and can’t comment on government, and also can’t criticize government officials’ corrupt behavior. On Chinese newspaper, radio and TV, everyday it can be seen that there is peace and harmony anywhere.
One government should tell people the real social problems, and should show people the dark side of society, and should allow people present all kinds of speech. Therefore, opening freedom of speech in China is helpful to promote the civilization and development of Chinese society.
