Zheng, Yu: The Reason to Realize Democracy in China
The nature of democracy is that people are masters. Though, democratic regime has some flaws, the democratic regime has one biggest advantage that is people are masters in a long run, and anybody, any party and any group can’t corrupt or disregard the human’s lives without any punishment.
Democratic regime seems that there are many faults, but actually it is the most severe and cruelest regime in the world. Before constitution and law, any interest group can’t be engaged in the lawless activities. Some people questioned the democratic regime and they said that they wonder if there isn’t corruption in USA. Answer is yes. Because the best regime can’t prevent corruption just like any regime can’t restrain the criminal from murdering. For example, power balance, public supervision and civilian’s right to know, etc under democratic regime, these measures make any government officials or public figures who want to commit crime have to think over before taking action.
Only under democratic regime that people are masters, corrupt officials can be restrained, overawed and completely revealed. This is reason to realize democracy in China.
