Xu, Daguang: Improving Human Rights is Unavoidable Responsibility of Chinese Government
In recent years, international community hopes that Chinese government can change human-rights situation. Though Chinese government did some specific effort on changing human rights and made some progress, it is still far away from what international community asks to do. Today, Chinese human-rights situation hasn’t been improved fundamentally. The main reason is that China lacks a good social regulation and a good human-rights environment. Chinese government should promote reform on democratic regime, should put people on the first priority and should establish an environment to show respect to people’s basic human rights.
The things that Chinese government should do on human rights are as follows:
Firstly, cancel all kinds of persecution policy. Secondly, gradually realize the reform on democracy, human rights and laws. The bad factors on improving human rights should be abolished from regime. Thirdly, establish a good environment to show respect to people’s basic human rights and protect human rights.
Improving Chinese human rights is the unavoidable responsibility of Chinese government, which doesn’t only comply with the tide to develop democracy, freedom and human rights, but also comply with the good wish for people to own human rights together.
