Xu, Daguang: Ameliorate human rights is an unshirkable responsibility for Chinese government
Over these years, international society always hopes Chinese government to ameliorate human rights situation. Though Chinese government has done some concrete work on promoting human rights and made a certain degree progress, it is far away to meet the international society’s requirements; and now, problem of Chinese human rights has not been improved thoroughly, the main reason is lack of good social system and human rights environment. As Chinese government, it should promote democratic innovation and to create an environment of people-oriented and respectful environment.
What should Chinese government do to ameliorate human rights is: First, cancel all of persecution policy and abandon violence; Second, implement democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law reform gradually and eliminate the adverse factors of promoting human rights; Third, establish a good environment of respecting and protecting human rights.
Ameliorate human rights is an unshirkable responsibility for Chinese government, it is not only conform to the trend of democracy, freedom, human rights development, but also consistent with good aspiration of people sharing human rights.
