Liu, Min: Only the democratic government can there be a better human rights
The autocratic system essence of Chinese Communist one-party is completely the same with Chinese history, and it is even beyond the extent; there are no human rights for Chinese people under such autocratic system.
Over the years, the human rights conditions have not yet been ameliorated; the United Nations ever urged Chinese government to promote human rights condition many times, and international society also appealed the government to ameliorate human rights. Chinese government was compelled to make progress in promoting human rights when facing voices of strongly claiming for human rights: open up freedom of speech gradually, carry out dialogue on human rights with people, etc. Though some progresses have been made in human rights, there are no basic changes in Chinese human rights. If Chinese Communist keeps on develop its one-party dictatorship, there will not be a better environment for Chinese human rights.
What Chinese people need is basic human rights and a better circumstance of human rights. To achieve this goal, it is a must for Chinese government to reform on the existing autocratic system and lead China to a democratic road. Only a democratic government can there be a better human rights.
