Wang, Wei: Democratic constitutional system can guarantee citizens interests
Under democratic constitutional system, citizen individuals are not the object of being governed any longer, but the master of society. They have right to establish rules and system themselves, every citizen has equal and free will and rational behavior and enjoy rights and obligations. In constitutional society, human beings are equal to each other; no one has the reason to enslave others, and no one have the rights to deprive other people’s freedom of religion, speech, person, residence, movement and the most important power—right of possession.
In constitutional country, the establishment of constitution must be discussed publicly and be consent with common opinion. Only by doing that, the constitution can expected to be obeyed together by social members, and then the constitution which has been went through the process of democratic order will definitely be abided by social members. Since it is known to all that maintain social security, unification, freedom and prosperity through constitution is closely related to each social member’s vital interests, and to the social justice and fairness. Under the system of market economy and constitutional policy, tax payers are social masters, it is those tax payers who authorize to government, and not government empowers them.
