Xu, Lei: Chinese government must stop carrying out birth-control policy
In order to control the growth rate of population, Chinese Communist government launched a notorious basic national policy—birth-control policy, which is forcibly carried out in the nationwide. Chinese Communist government holds the opinion that the Chinese population with a rapid growth has impeded Chinese economic development; only implementing integration can Chinese economy has a way out. This is the chief issue for birth-control policy.
It is inhumane and trampling human rights for China to carry out such a birth-control policy forcibly. It is not only violates the objective laws, but also do harm to many innocent people. Since Chinese government released birth-control policy, Chinese women have encountered unprecedented violent actions of mandatory abortion and ligation, they were jeopardized by anyone and nowhere else for them to redress.
I, as a Chinese woman, a China Democracy Party member, am here to appeal strongly that Chinese government must stop carrying out birth-control policy and protect Chinese women’s interests not being violated.
