Piao, Zaixing: Freedom of speech is based on multi-party regime

The major problem in Chinese society is no freedom of speech and no freedom of news. If people have no freedom of speech, they cannot express their minds and wish to solve problems. Over these years, Chinese government forbids people to put forward their different opinions to government, and people have to do what government tells them to. Just because people are not available to say what they want to, they have paid more price than any other people in the whole world.
People must have the right of freedom of speech. To solve the problem of Chinese people’s freedom of speech is to deal with Chinese society system; it is high time to promote democratic constitutional reform; the priority thing is to lift the ban on political parties in Chinese society to fulfill multi-party democratic political system. On this issue, CCP government should obey people to allow democrats’ true participation, and to open up a good start for realizing multi-party democratic system.
