Song, Dajuan: It is a serious incident of trampling human rights to suppress Tibetan 50 years ago

50 years ago, on March 10, 1959, CCP government suppressed Tibetan people with violence, and all of Tibetan rebelled to oppose CCP’s violence which resulted in Dalai Lama, who is the leader of Tibetan people, exiled for half a century. On March 10, 2009, in Lhasa, Tibet, the demonstration of memorizing the 49th anniversary of Tibetan’s Uprising Day was getting fierce, and riots are taken place in Lhasa and many other places on March 14. Tibetan government in exile pointed out that over 200 Tibetan died for CCP authority exercised violent suppression on Tibetan people for pursuing human rights movement again.
Over 50 years, Tibetan lost their freedom of speech, religion, and basic human rights. As the member of China Democracy Party, we strongly call for CCP government to stop using violence, and meanwhile to open up news media, ameliorate human rights, and require CCP authority to respect the religious freedom of Tibetan and the way they live; appeal the United Nation and international society to pressure CCP government to stop persecuting Tibetan to really promote Tibetan human rights.
When Chinese government iterated that it promises to ameliorate Chinese human rights to international society, every persecuting incident they launch indicate the so-called promoting human rights are fake; it is hard fact that they are violating human rights, and it is also a serious action of abusing human rights.
