In China, realizing democracy is the wish for the whole Chinese people, and Chinese people have their guarantee for human rights under the system of democratic freedom. Nowadays, since Chinese people live in the environment of no freedom for democracy in a long-time, they are blurred about the definition of freedom of democracy. Chinese people must be awareness a basic truth that: everyone is equal under democratic system; each person is equal in front of law on the political right.
Protecting people is the function of democratic government, since democratic government is established and chosen by people. The power of government is granted by people. Any power of government and its officials are from people, and people own the domination. The democracy is the minority subordinate the majority and protect right of the minority. But it is the contrary situation since the system of Chinese society is dictatorship. Hence, most people have no basic human rights.
