Jiang, Shuqing: Chinese government should abandon birth-control policy
Many aged people should remember horrible slogans, for example, you can only have one child in your life; if you give birth for more than one then the whole village will not be allowed to have child any more, one’s family who don’t obey birth-control policy will be broken up, and so on.
Over so many years, Chinese government takes birth-control policy as Chinese national policy, the extent of which completely exceeds people’s imagination, and those horrible slogans are spread all over every corner of city and countryside.
At that time, I am a common Chinese woman and I don’t think there is anything wrong with the slogans; either of the actions of government exercising the birth-control policy is destroying human rights with violence. Since we are live in Chinese autocratic society for we are not available to have our own opinion with human rights. And now, I can awareness of democratic freedom, human rights and ruled by law, and also understand the birth-control policy implemented by Chinese government is depriving Chinese women’s right to give birth. Birth-control policy is a system of disobeying natural order and seriously trampling human rights, and must be thoroughly abolished.
