Fu, Liping: chinese people’s consciousness on human rights is awakening
Chinese human rights have been paid attention by international society, and the United Nation committee discussed about the bills upon Chinese human rights and promotes Chinese government ameliorating human rights. Although Chinese human rights once been promoted, it is, in general, getting worse and worse.
When facing the pressure of the United Nation for asking Chinese to promote human rights, Chinese government debate for the record that it disobeyed human rights and advance the premise of respecting state sovereignty to defend human rights; on the other, the government represses the human rights defender, dissidents, religious people, and thousands of petitioners.
Chinese people are now getting more and more conscious about human rights, they are struggling justice, conscience and fairness; they want to change the unfair social system. All of these are good to promote Chinese human rights.
