Pu, Hengyong: Human rights can be promoted until abandon autocracy

Although Chinese human rights have been ameliorated to some extent, substantial progresses still lacked of. The rank of Chinese human rights in the world is not that good. When tracing back to 2008 when China holding Beijing Olympic Games, Chinese government has ever promised to ameliorate its human rights. We have to admit that the human rights conditions have been once advanced; then the situation started to turn down after the Olympic Games lowered its curtain. Chinese government keeps on persecuting dissidents, human rights defenders, religious people and Chinese democrats.
CCP insists on its autocratic position firmly, and it holds the opinion that abandoning its autocratic system means giving up CCP one-party regime. Chinese human rights cannot be ameliorated thoroughly if CCP continues to exercise autocracy. Hence, don’t Chinese people ever expect autocratic CCP government promote human rights substantially.
