Li Jie Chen: The General Public of China Should Fight for Freedom of Public Speaking

In today’s Chinese society, the general public’s consciousness of striving for freedom and basic human rights is gradually wakening. Although they have to face the autocratic ruling and repressing of China government, more and more Chinese civilians try not to live on lies. They dare to speak freely in the public, trying to tell the truth. There are also more and more Chinese civilians daring to stand up individually or collectively against China government by whom “the Jail of Words” is created. Even though these just people were prohibited from publishing any word on the public media by CCP authorities, they obtained a lot of support and praise from the general public of Chinese society as well as the global society.

As the general public of China strives for freedom of public speaking under the violent horror of Chinese Communist Party, the masses of China should speak boldly in order to deal with government’s ruling toward public speaking. Chinese government’s constraint over freedom of public speaking is a persecution to human right. This government has to understand that: the freedom of public speaking is granted by our nature and therefore is not deprivable.
