Li Li: The general public needs to strive for human rights themselves

The global society hopes that Chinese government is able to improve the human rights status of Chinese people.Prior to Beijing Olympic 2008, China’s human rights status was once improved a little bit. However, it was not so optimistic overall. Under the pressure of the global society, in order to defend for their records of violation to human rights, they always do some ostensible works and make such excuse like China has its own unique circumstances, improving human rights must based on those circumstances. This is a set of lies Chinese government uses to deceive the world. Accordingly, this autocratic government will not improve human rights for its people.

Chinese government often utilizes its extreme power over the global political stage to preach its improvement of human rights, claiming that Chinese people’s human rights is progressing continuously. However, the fact is completely contrary. Chinese people must understand a simple principle: human rights must be strived by the general public themselves.

The masses must possess the basic human rights so as to avoid being enslaved by the government continuingly. The public’s human rights are granted by God, nobody can deprive them. Only if the government acknowledges this fact can the progress of Chinese society’s human rights status be pushing forward.
