All kinds of restrictions in China make its people can’t enjoy the freedom of press; over the control of news publicity, the mainland have been extremely strict historically. The CCP’s everywhere-about repressing actions make many media workers incapable to adjust. It doesn’t matter whether it’s newspaper or magazine, or internet, people can’t talk whatever they want.

In today’s China, all aspects of development have progressed a lot, except the freedom of press. The CCP’s control over the freedom of press has never loosened. In other words, people who live in mainland can’t enjoy the freedom of press. In recent years, many collective rights-defending activities had been sealed and blocked. As a result, people aren’t able to learn the truth and the development of those events. The environment of freedom of press must be improved in mainland: wholly open all kinds of media to their public. If media have no freedom of press, then the general public’s freedom of speech won’t be guaranteed.
