Zhang, Yong: Improving human rights is an important work for Chinese government
张勇(Zhang, Yong)
Government, party in office and all the officials in Chinese society usually neglect laws, persecute people and violate human rights for a long time. Events of violating human rights happen frequently in China in these years, such as dissident being arrested and detained, petitioners being driven and repatriated forcefully and even beaten or detained. The facts show that there is no human right in Chinese society and officials of the government do evil for long time.
There are problems of human rights in China and this is contrary to the idea of “harmonious society” put forward by government; It is CCP government that violates human rights, and CCP government is a government ruled by people. Due to the country where violating events of human rights happen frequently, the United Nations calls it as the country with wicked record of human rights. According to present condition of human rights in Chinese society, China can be called as the country with wicked record of human rights.
If a person’s basic human rights is violated, he will not have respect and basic guarantee. Constitution gives each citizen living in China various rights, including basic right—human rights. However, constitution in country ruled by person is only literal content, and when Chinese government and officials are running their power, they can violate people’s human rights at random, so Chinese people don’t have human rights at all. Part of Chinese people don’t acknowledge the concept of human rights or human right was the born right for a person and how to go after human rights. Therefore, improving human rights in China still has much to do and it is an important work for Chinese government.
