Yang, Yongqing: Chinese people want a corruption-free society

Everyone desires money, especially the ones with powers at hands, who mercilessly collect money without any regard to law. Some of them trade power with money, while some occupy other people’s lands and houses through the evil transaction with unlawful merchants. In current Chinese society, common people are forced to voice against government sometimes even at the cost of lives.
Media under the control of Chinese government can not fairly execute its responsibilities. They present fake coverages against the facts, protecting and pandering Chinese government officials’ abuses of powers. Though there are many anti-corruption agencies, and the voices of anti-corruption are becoming stronger and stronger, Chinese government officials still commit these despicable behaviors.
Due to these, Chinese people are becoming poorer and poorer. This has to stop. Chinese people demand a honest government and officials with integrity. They wish Chinese society can be reformed by means of regulation and law so that the anti-corruption movement can be effectuated.
